Vid Papez aka Vid Va i has been on my radio show’s most wanted list for quite a while, more or less since I started playing his stuff. To be honest, it didn’t take too long for this young and talented Slovenian DJ/producer/musician to become one of my favorite regional artists. I wanted to get him both live in the studio for a proper interview and in the club to see how he’s gonna handle it. As it turned out, Vid is a very pleasant and insightful guy to talk to and an equally skilled DJ. It’s not often that I get to enjoy such expertly balanced and paced set, I loved it.
