| BILLAIN Drum & Bass / Experimental / Drum & Bass http://www.myspace.com/Billainhttp://soundcloud.com/billainVisions, senses and sensations...or simply Neurofunk "Intelligence is what you use when you don't know what to do.": said Jean Piaget, Swiss philosopher, natural scientist and developmental theorist, also reffering to a someones time spent over imagination and visions which had a front roleplay in sketches of every single big scientific discovery in the history of human major knowledge and surrounding awareness, which lead me to the phrase called: "mind's eye" The phrase "mind's eye" refers to the human ability for visual perception, imagination, visualization, and memory, or, in other words, one's ability to "see" things with the mind. Not all humans have this ability. With eyes closed, some humans report that they can visualize, or imagine, detailed scenery that is not just a memory. Others however, cannot. These humans report that while details of visual memories can be recalled (with eyes open), the images themselves cannot be brought up, even with eyes closed. Users of hallucinogenic drugs such as cannabis and LSD report seeing images with eyes open and closed, however the images are random and hard to control, and may interfere with normal consciousness. But in modern age society, growing up with receiving very sophisticated information from all corners thru anxiety is a "patch" or lets say "upgrade" for brain and it depends on how much hard-edged information you have at your senses...So one of things that mostly happened to be strong at people in oriented on research thru artism or other fields is that there is a strong intervention of "mind's eye".I think that the "mind's eye" represents a unique kind of rougly mentioned "one more core for the processor" for logical progression in sofisticated problem to set visions alive. This could be an next intelectual step for every human tommorow. So to be aware of the "mind's eye" capabilities and human brain evolutionary progress thru centuries to this point and beyond we must remmember many times, that sound as a frequency intepretation plays a big role as a welder between atoms to build a structure of all existing matter in universe we know so far, even us...So that makes the musical oscilations even more important than we can possibly be aware of...i did't spent much time reading thru existing sound healing process and sound healing institutes, and other sound research programs, but all progressive auditory experiments in fields of musical patterns and new genres are today a smoking gun of that the brain of every experimental artist is doing something more sofisticated that any brain ever did before, and its result is not just an apstract thought exported on the sounddesigning platforms, and definately not even close compasion to the brush color and line moves on canvas to form a vision since its funny to think that painting affects on brain as much as sound does. Neurofunk is one of the genres that require more addiction to the unexplored auditory sensation than thinking how to make the track the whole world can listen to. Ed rush was right, for giving genre a name "neurofunk",So that makes us all scientists...Adis Kutkut - Billain_ |
