Climate Recordings is an Australian Drum n Bass label created in 2008 to encourage the evolution of drum & bass by providing an environment for fresh new artists to flourish and shape the sound of the future. Just as global climate change appears unavoidable, so must the climate of our culture change to grow. Consequently, Climate Recordings was created in 2008 to encourage the evolution of drum & bass by providing an environment for fresh new artists to flourish and shape the sound of the future. Australia has cemented itself to be one of the global leaders of drum and bass talent Worldwide, spawning artists such as Pendulum, ShockOne, Phetsta, Rregula & Bad Robot. Label owner Access has been a long-time supporter of local Drum and Bass music through regular DJing, radio shows and his many global contacts in the drum and bass industry. Aesthetically and musically Climate Records aspires to release high quality music, with initial runs available in limited and unique formats. Climate Records will feature occasional international guest releases; the main criteria being quality music from those with a close affinity to the Australia scene or vibe.
