Hedj..s first experiences with Drum&Bass were in the late 90ies and they soon made him fall in love with this energetic sound. So it didn..t take a long time when he started making his own beats. After some time he met Grooveside from Hamburg, Germany, and he joined the Liveact “Grooveside Project”, formally also known as Grooveside and Access. After splitting up with Grooveside, Assimilate Recordings owner and german Drum and Bass pioneer Cativo got interested in Hedj..s Style. With now numerous signings and releases on Assimilate rec., Hedj also got some deals with many other Labels. Currently his tunes are played by Ed Rush & Optical, Lethal & Khanage, Nightwalker, Rusher, Nphect, Mumblz, Zardonic, Cativo, Dj GIS, just to mention a few. So u can imagine that Hedj..s style cannot be placed in only one genre of Drum&Bass. He is signed for now on Collective Rec., Assimilate Rec., Mindsaw Rec, Flight Rec., Trustinmusic Rec., Abducted Rec., Order in Kaos Rec., Black Noise Music, Ammunition Rec. and Dark Asylum. Also Hedj and his girlfriend are promoting and organizing parties in his hometown Augsburg, to present a high quality standard of Drum&Bass for the next generation.
